Bringing spaces to life, naturally.

“Two years ago, I embarked on my transformative journey in Mexico. Fueled by the pandemic and decades of working in the film and music business in Los Angeles, I needed a change of pace, environment, and reconciliation of a new future. I found solace in San Miguel Chiplatepec, blessed with a 200-year-old house nestled in the heart of bustling Mexico City. Yet, stepping into its courtyard, I'm transported to another time and place, away from the city's hustle. When I met Farina and learned of her profound connection to plants and expertise in biophilic design — it was an instant match. She assessed my home, blending nature seamlessly into its interior and exterior. The centerpiece of the home is a two-story atrium, a window to the sun, stars, and moon which was begging for an indoor garden, while a majestic 150-year-old Jacaranda Tree in the exterior courtyard yearned for companionship. Farina's eloquent and gentle touch brought harmony to these spaces, infusing healing energy and elevated oxygen levels into our sanctuary now known as MAAVVEN33. As MAAVVEN33 continues to grow and expand, we find it crucial to incorporate biophilic design into the process through collaboration with Story of Palms. Thank you, Farina.

“I recently completed the full renovation of a large residential project, focusing on the interior and architecture. From the beginning I knew that the property had further potential to connect with nature. With this in mind I enlisted Farina's biophilic services. I am very glad that I did as the results have been beautifully transformative.

Farina holds a deep understanding of the natural world and how to improve the quality of life with biophilic enhancements. She was able to integrate an array of planting types for my client whilst skillfully understanding the space. As a designer I felt really guided on the importance of creating such environments. I agree with Farina that spaces can support your physical and emotional well-being. It was a huge insight!

Since Farina's installation my client has confirmed that there is now a sense of harmonious synergy and the aesthetics of the space have been elevated!

I am incredibly grateful for her invaluable contributions to my project, and I am certain we will continue to collaborate!”

“Farina’s input to our covered garden space at The Gunmakers added a much needed wow factor - always reviewed as a guest highlight. We’ve even renamed the garden “Paloma’s Garden” after the Windmill Palm she planted as a natural and impactful centrepiece for the venue. Thank you for our very own palm story!”
